My dentist has referred me for an implant, why do I need to see an Oral Surgeon?

Placing dental implants is a surgical procedure. Most dentists realize surgical procedures can be difficult and prefer their patients to be treated by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Beware of providers advertising as implant specialists. The American Dental Association does not recognize implantology as a dental specialty.

How much does a consultation cost?

It is almost impossible to accurately estimate a patient’s insurance co-payment. Our oral surgeons can conduct a comprehensive examination and evaluate the necessary diagnostics to best determine your needs and the associated fees. Discussing payment arrangements and potential coverage from your insurance carrier are important steps in the planning process.

What payment options do you offer?

For your convenience, we accept Mastercard, VISA, Discover, check cards, electronic checks, and CareCredit. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore our financial policy is that payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.
